Mega Bloks have now released a new range of building block range based on the Xbox’s hugely successful Halo games range. The most successful of the games being Halo 3 and the latest release in this games franchise is Halo Wars. There is a wide range of vehicles and figures to choose from in starting your own Halo world and battles, it is up to you whether you side with the good guys, the UNSC, or the bad guys, the Covenant. Children from 8 years and older will have endless fun letting their imagination run amok with these great play sets and as always quality is assured with the Mega Bloks brand.
This particular play set is the Halo Wars Aerial Ambush set includes the Unsc Hawk and Covenant Banshee vehicles as well as figures of the Halo characters UNSC Spartan, flame Marine and the Covenants Elite and Grunt. As in the video game the Hawk is equipped with dual machine guns and a nose mounted cannon, the dreaded Covenant Banshee brandishes a fuel rod cannon as well as twin Plasma Cannons. In total the Aerial Ambush set contains 376 buildable pieces which will give great joy to kids in constructing and when finished will give endless hours of fun play time.
As with all Mega Bloks sets the Aerial Ambush vehicles can be altered and combined with other play sets from the Halo Wars range, this flexibility of use will be a great way to maximise your child’s use of their imagination at play time as well as the great benefits in learning to construct the toys themselves.
