This is another one of the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn range, it is another great example of combing fun with learning as well as developing motor skills for young toddlers. Like the Laugh and Learn Learning Farm when the toddlers go through the arch, a host of fun sounds and lights, music and sing-a-longs will be set off. Both sides of this educational toy are choc-a-block full of fun and activities. The play-set features a sink a fridge and oven and hob as well as all the fun bits all around it.
At the fridge, toddlers will be able to try and choose the correct shapes and turn them to fit into the correct shape holders. At the kitchen sink they will learn counting by dropping balls into the sink and it has an interactive tap to play with. At the hob and oven there is a number spinner for learning to recognize numbers and kids will be able to role-play with a pan and spoon. Kids will have great fun singing along with the pop-up toaster and there is more musical fun with the kitchen radio, where changing the dial will activate different sounds and songs.
Kids can also learn about time with the toy clock, they will also learn about opposites like up and down, on and off and in and out. In total there are 21 songs to sing a long to, featuring old favorites and some new original ones. There are fun phrases on the radio and encouraging phrases that correspond to the activities, there are 25 sounds and encouraging phrases.
The wonderful thing about the Laugh and Learn Learning Kitchen is that it promotes children to make use of their imagination, which is an important part of cognitive development. They can express themselves and play roles of Mom or Dad while receiving encouragement through phrases. To kids it will just seem like a whole heap of fun.
